Bro, you probably don't know who this is, but you sound just like Andy Rooney.
What about the haptics?? Are they good?
How was the lag using the track pad on the Dexnor keyboard case?
Have u noticed any lag?
tmoble has a great promo where you can get this for free if you add it as a line. got it for my boy so he wont have to constantly use my hotspot for his games and youtube. hes got the 5g on it
S9 fe plus display tft or Ips ?
Between honor pad x9 , redmi pad SE, Samsung a9+ What’s your pick?
a9+ with 8gb ram is such a killer device for the money it's unbelievable. The screen is amazing, even the contrasts are great. Build quality feels really good and the price is amazing.
Hey just want to know if there are any lag or jitters and how it feels as a tablet? Planning to buy one
no regret buying the 128gb variant!
What's Samsung Dex like?
It has the tensor 2 It's completely overpriced and doesn't have video out so yeah i can understand the hate
Yeah. I get why. It was bad timing. But I still appreciate it
I just paid $387.89 for the unlocked, US version via Amazon w/ next day delivery.
Enjoy it!
I wanna buy the normal A9, because I love the iPad Mini size. It is harder to find the 8GB RAM model, it’s easier to just go to the 4GB. You think it makes sense buying the 8GB in this cheaper tablet. I’m going to play some games and some socials 🤔
CAn I use my prior phone # on this device?
It depends. If your phone number is still active yes you can transfer it to metro or cricket. OR you can buy it unlocked. And put your sim card from your carrier in it. Any carrier will work. But if your phone service was cancelled, normally your phone number goes away too. They may give it like 30 days or so. But then that number gets recycled
I was a Xiaomi user for 9 years. But over the last year or two, local vendors in South Africa have inflated prices to the point where Samsung now offers more performance for the price. Switched to the A25, and what a difference from my old redmi 9t. One UI is fantastic
Awesome! Glad to hear it. Well. Glad to hear that second part
All I had were a million technical problems right off the bat with this phone. Literally from day 2. Would avoid lol
Upgrading from a Tab S5e to an S9. It's crazy how much more you have to spend to get the same features. The S5e launched at 399 with quad speakers, an OLED screen, super thin & light, etc. So while you get the performance upgrades with a new tablet, it seems they realized there's not much room (point?) for actual innovation so instead they'll simply jack up the paywall for what used to come standard. There's no reason the FE, let alone lower models, shouldn't come with an OLED, quad speakers, etc. for what they sell for considering they used to be provided for much less except for the fact that then they'd have little incentive for people to buy the higher models.
Let me push back just a little bit. I will admit, for 399, that was a once in a lifetime type of deal. To get AMOLED at that price. Just remember though, that device had a lower refresh rate, that device had major Wi-Fi issues, even if you never noticed it. But if you use certain apps to test the Wi-Fi strength, simply covering up one of the corners of that tablet would cut off two bars off your Wi-Fi and I tested like 10 of these devices and proved it was an issue with all of them, on the S5e. That device had significantly worse RAM, worse, performance, no water resistance, Way less software updates, and I can go on and on. I didn't even mention no s pen, which is a $50 to $100 loss for a lot of people. It was a terrific value at the time. Because it did give decent performance for the money compared to other devices and it gave AMOLED. And a thin device. Those are the three things a lot of people wanted, so it satisfied a lot of people in the budget market. But you're missing some things. Quad speakers or not, the quality of the speakers on the FE I would say are directly on par with the S5e. You don't get OLED, but you get an s pen, you get a higher refresh rate. You get water resistance, the no amoled is already balanced out by new features EVEN in the mid-range. I get you would maybe prefer AMOLED, and again, that device really hit a sweet spot for you. I can 100% see why. But device makers all around, they are giving you other things for that value. The Google Pixel tablet was giving a speaker in the box, the OnePlus pad wasn't giving oled either, but it was giving incredible performance and a great price without sales. You have to remember that we have had massive inflation since the S5E too. So when Samsung is making that tablet, it was way cheaper for them to buy processors and other supplies. Whenever you buy a screen with a higher refresh rate, these other things, the costs go higher. My point is I don't think Samsung is penny pinching and I don't think they are making devices at a much lower cost than they used to. I think we are getting equivalent features just in a different way. But again, you have every right to not want to hire refresh rate and to not want an s pen. You have every right to prefer a headphone jack and an AMOLED screen. And if I were you trying to upgrade, I'd be frustrated if I had to compromise my AMOLED. Here's the good news, I just bought a Galaxy Tab S9 open box from Best Buy for like 500 bucks. Just only 100 extra bucks over what the S5e cost years ago. There are sales and open box excellent condition items that can get you what you need. Hopefully this rambling helps some lol
I know a lot of it comes down to preference and personal use, I just think it's ridiculous that a company that loves providing choice in their lineups is abandoning the one niche I happen to fall into and in which I know I'm not alone, when they used to serve it quite well. I have no interest in drawing or going swimming with my tablet so it's unfortunate my only options are to pay way more, go with a model that's a year or two old (and therefore has shorter support) or a refurb/used/opened device. I've consumed a ton of S9/FE content prior to my purchase and the vast majority of the display hype is about the colors/blacks. The refresh rate comes from many as an afterthought often only getting mentioned in the specs list. Media consumption isn't low on the list of popular uses for a tablet so I don't think it's a crazy ask for them to provide an option that caters to that without all the other bells and whistles. I do appreciate a high refresh rate and the fact people out there do want to draw and be able to drop their tablet in the toilet without it dying so it's great they have that option, but I wish Samsung would backtrack a bit with their "you have to buy everything if you want this one very popular thing for a very popular use case" marketing plan.
I want this phone so bad but the price is a little too much for my comfort zone
Yeah I don't blame you. That's why I would only look on the used market and try to find some type of insurance. It's risky and expensive. But fun
Got the poverty model for 255€ brand new with 2yr warranty, i’m pretty sure it was a great deal. 😅
Enjoy it!
Have I missed it: how about the speakers?
Maybe. Can't remember. It's been awhile to be honest. They aren't killer. Not the best I've heard. Just meh to average on both really
For the Dexnor case, do you have any idea if the magnetic is still strong enough to hold the tablet if I slap on a thin clear tpu case
Definitely not. I would not recommend. It's strong but you can't just throw a case on it too. It will stay firm on it. And when closed it's very protected anyway. But yeah would not recommend. Didn't try but I just know. That's just too much
@AndroidDigest Thanks for the insight. I was thinking of getting those magnetic adhesive playe amd sticking it on the corner of a case. I really need my bumper protected. HAHA
Slayyy with this Tab S9 FE! Screen's fire for vids, S Pen lets me draw like a pro, and the battery's endless. Plus, comfy hold like a champ. Downside? Back's a fingerprint magnet and scratches easy. Fixed that with a TPU body & screen film from gadgetshieldz tho! Grippy, fingerprint-proof, and protected all around without the bulk. #WorthIt
Thanks for sharing. I agree
Give me a faster processor and QHD instead of FHD and take my money.
Yeah I'm with you. Excited for the future
My a25 has 8GB ram with Ram Plus its 12GB Ram
As much as I love this tablet, it's due for a refresh. I'm still waiting for its alleged successor with next-gen MediaTek Chromebook chipset. Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 really starts to show its age, especially when it's essentially a desktop version of Snapdragon 720G/730/730G/732G mobile chipset.
I do agree 1000%
👍
Great review I purchased it a9+
whoa 🤯
It's nice
Use galaxy S7 are 250 if you know where to look.
Yeah but those aren't getting software updates. Much better off getting a Galaxy Tab S8 or an S9 FE
I got this smartphone. But my battery is not good.
Yeah it definitely depends on what you're doing. Could be a glitch too. Go to the battery settings, see what apps are using the battery
I'm very impressed with this year's Stylus. That Red one is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love that red
I bought the Tab S9 for $500! It's a legimate one.
Yeah. That's a great deal. Best buy open box has been around $500 lately. A great deal
You are correct. Ignore the haters. All the haters carp about is the camera is not "flagship quality." If they want a "flagship camera," then buy a flagship and pay the additional $300-500. When one finds a comparably priced phone with a better camera, compromises have been made: less RAM, less storage, less battery power, slower charging. So, what is critical in your phone??
It has the oneplus 11 main cam which is very good too. Best speed for the money. Charging speeds. Biggest battery I've seen in a phone at this price. Very underrated
That’s exactly why I’m switching from an iPhone to this, to minimize my time from the phone 👍🏽
Good luck! Hope you enjoy it. It's quirky. Not perfect. But it can be fun
I just want the pen to be built in! That's all I want😢😢
Yeah you'll need a case for that
After 2 years ,Is it gonna work as smooth as now ?
You may need a factory reset but I'd say yes. Sometimes you need to rest here or there
Hello everyone I buy it 3 months ago. And. This a lag champion. Just do RUclips. Some Pandora music and maps some browsing. A little bit of Facebook. Or market place. And. It is not a decent phone at all. Feels good in hand looks good on the screen department. But lags a lot even to do a phone call. Using basic aps. Not to advanced.
Maybe try to do a factory reset. Start from scratch. It helped me immensely. I lagged a lot before that
Whats the major difference between the plus version ?
Size. One camera. 2GB RAM in the base model. 6GB vs 8GB. Mainly just the size though. You pay for size with tablets
Great video
Thanks!
Dude got the finger from scary movie 😂
For sure 😂
I genuinely want to know what people need to do on a $1200 phone...I use a 'budget' phone as a executive, to run a business, to take pictures. What does a $1200 phone actually do so amazing?...most people are clueless about tech and what they actually need.
I'm with you
I just want to ask what does the option ram plus will do if i have a 4 gb ram one and i increase to 6gb
Yeah it won't do much. It tries to use storage as a ram replacement. But then it's slow RAM. So it might lag more. It's not an actual replacement for RAM. Not worth using even imo. I turn it off
Not having an OLED screen is actually a pro for me. I've had a big issue of screen burn in on OLED screen from tiktok and RUclips shorts after less than a year of use. I like that I can use this phone for 2 or 3 years and not have to worry about it.
That's a good way to think about it!
I am writing this on my 4 day old A9! I love it! Everything I need and more. I am struggling with all the bloatware, yet it does everything quick, clean and the best tab I have ever had! Thums up!
Awesome. Glad it's meeting your needs!
This honestly should be proof to Samsung that going for"mini"form tablets with S pen is a safe bet for students and nomadic artists
Iam getting this phone for 149 and keeping it max 2 years so I don't care that it only gets 1 sw update.
i don't really care about the water resistance and my current tablet i only use in the evening so i keep it plugged in when in use so you may have convinced me to get the s8 thanks very much
im going to buy this
mid 300s currently before shipping
Great deal!
The economy is not "crashing".
Respectfully, you can keep telling yourself that. Groceries are way way more expensive than they used to be. Significantly more. The jobs report is indeed showing a gain in jobs, when you look at the details a lot of those are part-time jobs, because a lot of people are having to work two jobs right now. Everything is costing way more but wages are not going up at the same rate. Things are definitely stabilizing over what it was. But it crashed so bad, housing prices are through the roof and houses are now officially unaffordable. Which it was not four or five years ago. Bus statistics may look fine, because things have stabilized on the upper end. Things have stabilized for the rich. But if you look deeper into the reports, things have not stabilized for people like you me. This is not a political thing. It's just pure facts. At the time that I made this video, it definitely felt like the economy was continuing to crash. As of today, it is more stable than it was that day, but when prices were going up and up and up for years, and they were still going up even then, things are indeed crazy. This isn't just a media report or something or spun narratives. It's just basic facts if you talk to anyone who's trying to survive right now
Loved the details, subbed
Thanks so much
